On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the passing of Dr. Hamid Notghi, the founder of public relations in Iran, the fifth “World Public Relations Day” summit with the theme “Building Bridges and Overcoming Polarisation” will be held on July 16, 2025, initiated by the Association of Public Relations Specialists and the Kargozar Public Relations Institute.
According to Shara News Agency, this event continues the global growing trend of World Public Relations Day, which in 2024 set a new record with the participation of more than 18,000 specialists from 65 countries and six continents, establishing itself as a platform for international dialogue in the field of communications.
This year’s summit aims to honor the scientific and professional contributions of Dr. Notghi and to highlight the role of public relations in reducing tensions, promoting social cohesion, and developing multilateral dialogues. The theme “Building Bridges and Overcoming Polarisation” serves as the central focus of the summit, inviting dialogue, mutual understanding, and bridging social, cultural, and political divides at both national and international levels.
The secretariat of the summit has invited all specialists, professors, students, organisations, and governmental and private companies to participate in this global event. Suggested ways for public involvement include using the official WPRD 2025 avatar on social media, submitting analytical notes and articles, and sharing the message of “World Public Relations Day.”
